TDS Customer Rewards FAQ

What is the Customer Rewards program? TDS Customer Rewards program is a rewards program in which enrolled TDS Customers can accumulate points and redeem them for "Rewards".

How do I enroll in the program? The program web is located at Click on the ENROLL NOW button and complete the registration. The billing phone number and the last name must match the TDS billing phone number/last name.

Where do I send an email a question regarding the program? You may send an email to The site also includes email links to the email address.

How do I view my Customer rewards account? Once enrolled, you may log in to the site at with your username (email) and password to view a personalized web page where you are able to check point balances, redemption history, redeem points for an Gift Card* claim code or a Walmart eGift Card, update your personal profiles (e.g. email address), and view any special TDS offers.

How do I update my Account Profile? To update your account profile, log in to the program with username and password and click on the Account Profile tab at the top. Here, you can update your password, first name and address. You must email to change your phone number, email address and last name.

How do I retrieve my log in information? To retrieve a password, click on the "forgot password" link just below the log in. You must submit the email address that was used for registration and an email with the log in information will be sent immediately to that email address. Be sure to add to your address book to help the email be delivered. If you do not receive the "re-set password" email, email to have a re-set email link emailed to you.

What if my password doesn't work? Passwords are case sensitive so, for accuracy, copy and paste the password into the log in from the "forgot password" email. To retrieve a "forgot password" email, click on the link just below the log in and enter your email address. An email will be sent to you immediately with your log in information.

What if I opt out? Opting-out removes you from participation in this program and forfeits your sweepstakes entry and Rewards Points. If you accidentally opted out and would like to continue participating in TDS Customer Rewards, please email and request to be opted in

What do I need to include in my password? The password criteria are very specific and must include:

  • at least eight (8) characters
  • one upper case letter (A-Z)
  • one lower case letter (a-z)
  • one alphanumeric character (0-9)
  • at least one special character (like !, #, $, or %)

What are the Rewards? The rewards are Gift Card* claim codes OR Walmart eGift Cards.

What happens to my points that I have already earned in my Customer Rewards account? Points from the previous program will remain in your account and can be used to redeem Gift Card claim codes or Walmart gift card claim codes.

How do I accumulate points once I am enrolled? Earn 1 point for each dollar paid in your monthly TDS bill, (excluding taxes, FCC and 911 charges). The more services you use with TDS, the more points you earn.

How many points do I receive for enrolling? You will receive 100 points upon enrollment.

How do I earn a sweepstakes entry? You are automatically entered into the sweepstakes when you enroll in the program and earn 1 entry per month that you remain enrolled.

What is the Sweepstakes prize and when is the drawing?

  • One (1) Grand Prize: $2,500. Grand Prize drawing will be conducted on or about October 7, 2014

How do I receive the Gift Card claim code? Once you have earned 1000 points, you can redeem your points for Rewards. Log in with your username/password and click on the "Redeem Now" button, select the amount and submit. An email will be sent immediately to you with your unique Gift Card claim code. The claim code can also be found in the "Account History" page of their TDS Customer Rewards page.

What is an Gift Card? Use your Gift Card towards Books, Electronics, Music, and more. The website is the place to find and discover almost anything you want to buy online at a great price.

How do I use my Gift Card? First, locate your claim code on the e-mail that was sent to you confirming your Point Redemption request. You can also locate your claim code in the "Account History" section of the Customer Rewards website.

To redeem your gift card, follow these steps:

  • Visit
  • Click Apply to Account and enter the Claim Code when prompted.
  • Gift card funds will be applied automatically to eligible orders during the checkout process.
  • You must pay for any remaining balance on your order with another payment method. Your gift card claim code may also be entered when prompted during checkout. To redeem your gift card using the 1-Click® service, first add the gift card funds to Your Account.

If an order exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the balance must be paid with a credit card or other available payment method.

How do I use the Walmart gift card link? Open the email that you received, select "View my Gift Card", enter your email address and submit. This is your gift card and it should be treated like cash. You can redeem it online at or in store.

How do I redeem my Walmart gift card online?

  • Find a product you would like to purchase and place it in your cart
  • When you check out, you will have the option to pay for your entire order or a portion of your order with a Walmart Gift Card
  • Simply click "Use a Walmart Gift Card," and enter your card number and PIN
  • Your card balance will be automatically applied to your order total

If your order total is less than the amount on your Walmart Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on your card for future purchases.

If your order total is more than the amount on your Walmart Gift Card, you will need to pay for the balance with additional Walmart Gift Cards or a credit card.

Where can I use my Walmart eGift Card?

Walmart eGift Cards can be used at:

  • Any Walmart store

You must have a copy of your eGift Card email to use in a Walmart or Sam's Club* store during checkout.

To use at a Walmart Gas Station: print the eGift Card and trade it in for a plastic gift card at any Walmart Store.

*If you are not a Sam's Club member, you may shop at a Sam's Club store or, but a 10% service fee will apply.

Can I use my Walmart eGift Card in a Walmart store? Yes. you must have a copy of your eGift Card email to use in a Walmart or Sam's Club* store during checkout so be sure to print a copy of it before you go to the store.

How do I save my Walmart eGift card to my online Walmart account?

To save a Walmart Gift Card:

  • Select the Gift Card/Trial Offer Balances link in My Account
  • Click the Save Gift Card button
  • Enter the requested information

How do I check the balance on my Walmart eGift card? You can check the balance of a Walmart Gift Card either online, in a Walmart store or by calling 1-888-537-5503.

You will need your 16-digit card number and PIN which is located in the eGift card email.

Once I apply my Walmart eGift card to my Walmart account, can I still use it in a Walmart store? Yes, but you must have a copy of your eGift Card to use in a Walmart or Sam's Club store during checkout.

I'm having trouble using my Walmart gift card to place an order. What am I doing wrong? Are you receiving an error message that says the gift card has already been redeemed? Once you've entered the claim code on, the balance will be kept in your account for use on future purchases, and you don't need to enter the claim code again.

To confirm that the funds are already on your account, check your current gift certificate balance through your account. If the funds don't show up there, you might have more than one account; please contact
